The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is seeking information on suspects responsible for shooting at a home in between the Hammond and Ponchatoula area over the weekend.
Just after 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, residents at a home near the corner of Pleasant Ridge Road Extension and Sisters Road reported experiencing more than ten gunshots through their walls and windows. The incident was caught on home security video and shows one suspect exit a small, unidentified vehicle from the passenger side before the vehicle is relocated down the road with its lights off. The suspect can be seen firing shots toward the home before heading back to get into the vehicle. The car then travels west on Sisters Road toward Yokum Road.
Fortunately, the two residents in the home at the time of the shooting were uninjured, however, multiple vehicles, the garage and the house were damaged.
