Over the weekend TPSO provided an update on the escaped inmates, saying Omarion Hookfin was taken into custody.
Jamarcus Cyprian remains at large.
19 YO Omarion Hookfin of Hammond was located at an abandoned house in Hammond.
Hookfin was in jail following his arrest for a 2022 homicide in Hammond, whereas Cyprian was serving time for armed robbery and weapon charges. Hoofkin also acquired additional charges of aggravated battery while incarcerated in the Catahoula Parish.
Four inmates escaped from the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. Now three of them have been recaptured.
