The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect of a drive-by shooting.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says on May 2, 2024, deputies responded to a reported drive-by shooting which took place on N 1st Street in Ponchatoula. On the night of the incident, the occupants of a white car were traveling behind the victim on N. 1st Street, during which time they opened fire on the victim’s vehicle. Fortunately, the victim was able to get away with no injuries.
Detectives have been able to obtain security footage from a nearby business, which shows the suspect vehicle from the incident. The vehicle appears to be a white four-door car with tinted windows and custom rims.
