St Tammany Parish Government says Parish Public Works crews will begin burning the debris from the April tornado, which is currently on the Dr. TJ Smith, Sr. Expressway, next week.
They said the crews have gotten an air curtain to limit smoke and ash, but you may see some. They also said their Emergency Management leaders are working with fire districts to ensure full safety.
