On April 19, 2024, the Hammond Police Department began investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at Walmart, located at 2799 West Thomas Street.
The suspects were identified from security footage as one male and three females.
The suspects selected items, walked past registers, and then exited the store without purchasing the items that were valued in excess of $770.
