
District Attorney J. Collin Sims reports that on April 17 a St. Tammany grand jury indicted 32 YO Christopher Mikhail Baker of Slidell for second degree murder, second degree cruelty to juveniles, possession of fentanyl and cocaine and illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of fentanyl.
This incident occurred in Slidell on January 7 and involved the death of a 2 YO. The child’s death was attributed to cocaine and fentanyl intoxication. Detective Winston Harbin, Jr. with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office was in charge of the investigation. Assistant District Attorney Ronnie Gracianette presented the case to the grand jury.
A St. Tammany grand jury also indicted 32 YO Lenin Antonio Munoz-Rivera of Slidell for first-degree rape, sexual battery and aggravated crime against nature involving a victim under the age of 13. The sexual assaults occurred in Slidell in 2021 and 2022. Slidell Police Detective Matt Bauer investigated the case. Assistant District Attorney. Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
And a St. Tammany grand jury indicted 33 YO Ahmad Hassan Smith of Slidell on two counts of aggravated rape involving two young girls. The acts occurred between the years 2008 and 2010 in Slidell. Assistant District Attorney Zachary Popovich presented the case to the grand jury.
