Slidell Police report that one of their motor officers, Jason Walden, has been released from the hospital and is currently at home recovering.
Slidell PD reported that it will be a while before he is back in action, BUT he is very determined.
Walden was injured during an escort while state officials were touring Slidell’s storm damage.
They offered a thank you to those who jumped into action to assist Officer Walden after his crash. Join them in wishing Officer Walden a full and speedy recovery.
