On March 15, the Louisiana State Police-Special Victim’s Unit (LSP-SVU), working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Madisonville Police Department, arrested three individuals on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of 24 YO John Anthony Campanella III of Mandeville, 36 YO Ross Brignac of Mandeville, and 41 YO Stuart Stringer of Denham Springs.
Each individual was charged with Computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and Indecent behavior with juveniles.
All three were booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
These cases remain under investigation.
LSP-SVU works to rescue and seek justice for the victims of crimes involving the exploitation of children and the trafficking of humans for sex or labor. It does so through investigative partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as through public education. The public plays an important role in identifying suspects accused of these crimes and is urged to report suspicious and/or criminal activity. The Louisiana State Police online reporting system is available to the public through an anonymous reporting form that is submitted to the appropriate investigators. The form can be found by visiting http://la-safe.org/ and clicking on the “Suspicious Activity” link.
