Working with agents and task force officers with their federal partners at the DEA, detectives with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and Proactive Enforcement Unit executed a federal search warrant at a Slidell-area home on Thursday evening.
A search of a residence in the 3400 block of Tupelo Lane, which was the home of 39 YO Jarrett Paul Narcisse, led to the discovery and seizure of cocaine, more than seven and a half pounds of marijuana, more than one and a half pounds of THC wax/butter, drug paraphernalia, a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun with a 50 round drum magazine and $7,125 cash.
It was also determined that Narcisse was previously convicted of a felony drug charge, prohibiting him from legally possessing the firearm.
As a result of this investigation, Narcisse was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on numerous violations. STPSO Narcotics Detectives recently received an anonymous complaint/tip about Narcisse, who was already the target of the ongoing DEA investigation.
Sheriff Smith is asking anyone with information about narcotics, or other crimes, to submit a tip utilizing the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office website www.STPSO.com, or by calling the narcotics tip line (1-888-GO-2-JAIL).
