It was a distracted driver that stopped up the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway yesterday, the second time it happened in as many days.
Officials with the Causeway are pleading with drivers to put their phones down.

Then, on Thursday, two people had to be extracted from a vehicle after a driver caused a crash that left a vehicle flipped over on the bridge.
Both accidents caused massive traffic problems on the bridge.
