
After receiving an anonymous complaint concerning suspected illegal narcotics activity taking place at a residence inside the city limits of Slidell, detectives with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Proactive Enforcement Unit responded, and three individuals were arrested.
At approximately noon Saturday (December 16), STPSO narcotic detectives responded to a residence in the 800 block of Pine Tree Street in Slidell and made contact with five individuals.
During their investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and located 3,494 suspected fentanyl pills in the form of counterfeit oxycodone, 3 grams of fentanyl powder, 53.4 grams of an unknown brown powder and a 10mm semi-automatic handgun. The search also resulted in the seizure of approximately a half pound of psilocybin mushrooms, approximately four pounds of marijuana, 69 commercially rolled and packaged marijuana blunts and other THC products and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation led to three of the individuals being arrested. Syriel Biagas, Aniyah Thurmond and Brian Bailey.
