
Yesterday CPD Narcotics conducted a search warrant at an apartment in the 2000 block of Pine Crest Avenue in Covington.
This warrant was a result of a welfare check conducted by CPD Narcotics and the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services after receiving information concerning an individual observed dealing narcotics with several small children inside the residence.
CPD Narcotics seized 202 grams of fentanyl (over 2000 pills), 115 grams of marijuana, and a 7.62 caliber semi-automatic pistol.
CPD Narcotics arrested Jeremy Rodgers, Bryce Harrison, and Johnquaries Laurant for various charges.
Over the past week, CPD Officers removed three illegally possessed firearms, made arrests on various narcotics charges along with 15 open warrants, and recovered a stolen license plate.
