The Hammond Downtown Development District’s Annual Starry event, Starry Saturday, kicks off the holiday shopping season in historic Downtown Hammond on November 18.
During Starry Saturday, you can get your holiday shopping done while enjoying the best selections of the season, special promotions, and extended hours from participating retail stores. Visit one or more of the locally-owned restaurants or pubs for seasonal food and drinks to keep fueled while you shop and stroll.
From 4 – 7 p.m. dazzle your taste buds on a specially-curated Holiday Wine & Cheese Walk. Visit with over twenty Downtown Hammond businesses while you enjoy wine, cheese, and special sips and snacks provided by local restaurants.
From 4 – 8 p.m., in partnership with the Rotary Club of Hammond, the night will feature a Movie Night Under The Stars in Cate Square Park.
And from 6 – 9 p.m., the 106 Night Market will host local artists and producers featuring art, gifts, and more in Railroad Park.
