In Louisiana, Upper St. Bernard, Lower Plaquemines, Lower St. Bernard, Southeast St. Tammany and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock and Southern Harrison Counties.
This will be in effect until 6 AM Thursday.
Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
