The Hammond Regional Airshow says the AVTT’s Traveling Vietnam Wall will be escorted to the Hammond Northshore Regional Airport by local first responders, Grand Marshal Louis “Nick” Joseph, military members, and volunteer riders today.
The procession of honor will begin at Hobby Lobby in Hammond at 2:00 pm and continue down Hwy 190 to the airport.
Hammond’s citizens and visitors are encouraged to line the streets and participate in a show of respect and gratitude to this unique memorial and the sacrifice it represents.
