Two high-end stolen vehicles, three illegal guns and approximately $100,000 worth of marijuana were located at a Slidell-area residence.
After receiving information about possible narcotics activity at a residence in the 300 block of Brookhaven Court near Slidell, detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Narcotics Division went to the home Monday (October 9) and made contact with two occupants.
A subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of more than 22 pounds of suspected marijuana packaged for the purpose of distribution, an assortment of drug paraphernalia, three pistols and $26,900 believed to be proceeds from narcotics transactions.
Detectives also located two stolen Chevrolet Corvettes at the home. One, valued at more than $93,000, was reported stolen in July from a residence in Fort Worth, Texas. The second, valued at more than $78,000, was reported stolen in August from a dealership in Plano, Texas. That second car was found to have two differing Vehicle Identification Numbers on it, showing someone had tampered with the VIN in attempts to elude law enforcement.
The amount of suspected marijuana seized had an estimated street value of approximately $100,000.
The occupants of the home, Ronald Riley Jr. and Zacharie T. Jordan were taken into custody.
