Keep Hammond Beautiful says their Great American Cleanup will happen on Saturday, September 23, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Participants will meet at Tangipahoa African American Heritage Museum at 1600 Phoenix Square.
Pick-up sticks, vests, gloves and trash bags will be distributed.
This event is organized by Keep Hammond Beautiful committee and the City of Hammond and this activity can be used for students who need service hours or Community Service hour requirements.
