Andi Matheu and the Tangipahoa Parish Registrar of Voters Office would like to remind everyone that early voting for the October 14 election will begin Saturday, September 30 and will continue through the following Saturday, October 7.
Both the Hammond and Amite locations are open from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM during early voting week.
Matheu said with the redistricting that took place over the summer, there were over 14,000 precinct changes and over 43,000 district changes so please check districts and precincts BEFORE you show up to the polls.
The deadline to register to vote or update your registration in-person or by mail is 09/13/2023 and online is 09/23/2023. Come in or call their office for assistance or visit GeauxVote.com to verify your registration information.
