Detectives with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Special Agents from Homeland Security Investigations received information Monday regarding the presence of a large amount of methamphetamine in a residence in the Slidell area.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home in the 2000 block of Crane Street near Slidell, and during the subsequent search, they located 3.03 pounds of suspected methamphetamine.
An occupant of the home, Maximo Chacon (DOB 7/22/1975), was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Over 28 grams) and was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center.
