A 17 YO is facing a murder charge after a man was fatally shot inside his Slidell-area home.
Shortly before 3 a.m. Friday deputies with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call in reference to a shooting at a residence in the 100 block of Eden Isle Boulevard near Slidell.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject who appeared to have been shot inside his home. During their initial investigation, STPSO detectives learned the shooting was in relation to a domestic incident that occurred inside the residence.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A 17 YO male juvenile who lived at the residence has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with this homicide.
He was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.
