The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen ATV, and identifying the suspects.
Chief Jimmy Travis says on July 25, two subjects were captured on a surveillance camera just before 5:30 AM stealing a trailer and ATV from a home on East Yellow Water Road in Hammond. One subject is seen walking up to the shed with a reciprocating saw and proceeds to cut the lock from the trailer, while the other subject backs a truck down the driveway and hooks up to the trailer. The subjects then re-enter the truck and leave pulling the trailer and ATV.
The suspect vehicle is a single cab Chevrolet Silverado, which appears to have paint missing from the hood and also a different colored tailgate.
Chief Travis asks anyone with information surrounding the theft, or able to provide information as to the identity of the suspects to contact Detective Bobby Bradberry at 985-902-2045, OR if you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa’s anonymous tip line at 1.800.554.5245 or visit www.tangicrimestoppers.com and click on the P3 Tips icon or Submit A Tip!
