The Krewe of Dionysus in Slidell invites the public to participate in its annual Daddy Day Care Poker Run on Saturday, June 17 starting and finishing at The Landing Bar & Grill, 4748 Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell.
All stops on the Poker Run route are in the Eden Isles area of the city and are accessible by boat and automobile.
There will be food trucks, live musical entertainment, and a beer truck.
This is the only fundraising activity of Dionysus, and enables the Krewe to continue providing valuable support year-round to several community organizations, including Hospice House, Riley’s Bikes, Habitat for Humanity East St. Tammany, and several others.
Registration for the Poker Run starts at 10:00 am.
Stops along the way include The Blue Crab, Phil’s Marina Café, Tammany Yacht Club, and many more. Poker hands are $60 on event day, and are discounted to $50 prior to the event.
