On Sunday the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the shooting death of 18 YO Calvin Felton of Hammond.
Chief Jimmy Travis says shortly after 1:00 PM Sunday, deputies located Felton in the yard of a residence on Martin Luther King Drive inside the Village of Tangipahoa.
Felton suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Felton was a musician who performed as Highway Youngin’.
