
Slidell Police Narcotics Division says earlier this month they assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation Gang Task Force, and the New Orleans Police Department with the execution of a search warrant in New Orleans.
During the investigation, the Slidell Police Narcotics Division participated in numerous hours of surveillance and arrests; which led to the identification of a regional fentanyl dealer, who was supplying Slidell and St. Tammany Parish residents with fentanyl daily.
The investigation resulted in the recovery of over 11 ounces (330 grams of Fentanyl/pressed Fentanyl pills, over $5,000 in U.S. currency, six firearms, including one stolen out of Gulfport, and the arrest of two convicted felons in the State of Louisiana.
