
DA Warren Montgomery reports that on May 4, a St. Tammany Grand Jury indicted 44 YO Rodney Craig Reynolds, Jr. of Slidell, for Second Degree Murder and Distribution of Fentanyl.
In 2022 the victim died of an overdose from drugs alleged to have been sold to him by the defendant. Assistant District Attorney, Collin Sims, Chief of Criminal Division, presented the case to the Grand Jury. Detective Ben Williams of the Slidell Police Department investigated the case.
Montgomery also reported that on May 4 a St. Tammany Grand Jury indicted 38 YO Kenneth Charles Caton of Madisonville, for sexual acts that occurred in multiple locations in St. Tammany between the years 2017 and 2022 on four victims under the age of 13. Assistant DA Ysonde Boland presented the case to the Grand Jury. Detective Corrine Ringo of the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
