Effective immediately, all regular Library Board of Control meetings will be held on Koop Drive in the Parish Council Chambers and moved to the 4th Monday of the month instead of the 4th Tuesday.
An updated schedule has been posted on the St. Tammany Parish Library website to notify the public of the change.
All meetings will still begin at 6:30 p.m. except where noted.
The change of venue was made to provide a more central location for residents all over the parish to attend and for much-needed increased capacity.
The change of date was made due to another agency already using the Council Chambers on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
The St. Tammany Parish Government access station, STPG-TV, was unable to accommodate their request to video record and air the meetings. At this time, meetings will not be live-streamed or video recorded but will continue to be audio recorded by library staff. Minutes, agendas and board packets can all be viewed on their website.
