The City of Hammond is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The event will be held at Zemurray Park at 406 S Oak St. Some of the items that will be collected include Lamps – bulbs, batteries, computers, electronics, TVs, tires, oil based paints, used oil and antifreeze. No commercial materials. Household waste only.
