During the past two weeks, the Bogalusa Police Department and the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office joined forces in an effort to discourage criminal activity inside the city limits of Bogalusa.
Officers worked heavily on high crime areas and these were some of the stats from that effort: Arrests – 24, Firearms Seized – 27, Heroin Seized – 5.24 OZ, Cocaine Seized – 1.6 OZ, Fentanyl Seized – 10.4 OZ, Methamphetamine Seized – 12.4 OZ, Marijuana Seized – 6 OZ, MDMA – 21 pills, Illegal Pills – 92, U.S. Currency Seized $5,268, and Vehicles Seized – 1.
