DA Warren Montgomery reports that last week a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted 23 YO Brian Taylor from Slidell for second degree murder and 36 YO Brandon Walker from Marrero for accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice for a homicide that occurred on September 16 in Slidell.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s office investigated the investigation. Assistant District Attorney Blake Peters presented the case to the grand jury.
On that same day a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted 21 YO Zachary Thomas Silcio-Smith of Hattiesburg on one count of 1st degree rape of a victim under 13 and one count of sexual battery. Smith is accused of sexually abusing two children in Slidell between March 9, 2016 and August 31, 2018. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation. Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
