Children’s Advocacy Center – Hope House is currently accepting nominations for its inaugural Champions for Children Awards.
Through this initiative, Hope House will select seven local “champions” – everyday heroes who work to improve the quality of life and/or safety of children on the Northshore – and honor them at a special awards ceremony. One of these seven award winners will be a “Youth Champion,” a local student (K-12th grade) who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to bettering the lives of other local children through advocacy, volunteering, fundraising, etc.
The seven Champions for Children award winners will be honored at an Awards Breakfast at Fleur De Lis Event Center on April 19, 2023, from 7:30-9:30 AM. The keynote speaker at this year’s breakfast is Kevin Mulcahy, a prosecutor and survivor of child sexual abuse.
The event will take place at the Fleur De Lis Event Center in Mandeville.
Tickets to the breakfast are $30 and can be purchased at www.cachopehouse.org/events.
