The Tangipahoa School District announced their 2023 Teacher of the Year Winners.
From Tucker Elementary Sarah Dowdy won District Elementary Teacher of the Year. From Hammond Eastside IB Upper School Cassandra Dyson won District Middle School Teacher of the Year. From Ponchatoula High School Dennis Pevey won District High School Teacher of the Year. And from Hammond High Magnet School Lily Navarra won District NEW High School Teacher of the Year.
Congratulations to all of the Teacher of the Year candidates who were nominated by their school. These outstanding educators now move on to the LA state competition.
