NAMI St Tammany says not everyone gets to spend Christmas with their loved ones.
Throughout the parish there are hundreds of adolescents and adults who are in behavioral health hospitals and facilities during the holiday season.
NAMI Christmas Angels will deliver Christmas to these individuals.
NAMI needs donations of travel sized personal items like socks, toothpaste, and body wash. Or individually wrapped snacks like pop-corn, hot chocolate and cookies. Or activities like card games, board games and puzzle books.
They are willing to shop for you if you want to do a monetary donation at namisttammany.org/donate.
Or drop off your donations at the NAMI St Tammany Office at 23577 Martin Way in Mandeville or at the Northshore Community Foundation at 807 North Columbia in Covington.
Drop off deadline is December 20.
