Five St. Tammany communities: Lacombe, Slidell, Mandeville, Abita Springs, and Covington, were among 26 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Community Affiliates qualifying for the 2022 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Circle of Excellence.
The Tangipahoa and Hammond affiliates also made the list.
The announcement stated that every day they carry out their shared mission to fight litter in Louisiana and beautify communities for an improved environment and better quality of life.
Keep Louisiana Beautiful is an anti-litter and community improvement non-profit organization focused on achieving a clean and beautiful Louisiana through education, enforcement, public awareness, and community engagement.
