This year’s 17th Annual Starry November event will have a refreshed approach.
It is going to be a day and night event in Historic Downtown Hammond, America on Saturday, November 19th from 8am until 8pm.
Bring your family and friends to explore, discover, and support local businesses and merchants as we kick off the holiday season.
From 8am-12pm: Start the day at our Farmers Market Grand Reopening at Railroad Park. The celebration begins with a Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar by Benny’s Place, live music, over 40 farmers and vendors, pet adoptions, kids’ activities, and more.
From 12pm-3pm: Shop local at Downtown Hammond’s retail businesses to get a head start on your holiday shopping, meet special guests, and/or enjoy exclusive deals. Visit one or more of our locally-owned restaurants or pubs for lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner, refreshing beverages, and/or libations. As an extra holiday delight, Santa and Mrs. Claus have accepted our invitation to visit and enjoy an afternoon Downtown stroll.
From 3pm-6pm: Dazzle your taste buds on a specially-curated Wine & Cheese Walk. Tickets are $35 each and are available for pre-sale only starting Tuesday, November 1st. Individuals must be 21 years or older to participate.
From 6pm-8pm: End the day with a Starry Night in Cate Square Park with the magic of festive holiday lights, Christmas caroling, and a snowy winter wonderland. Train rides around Cate Square Park are free but limited.
