NAMI St Tammany says suicide rates have increased almost every year since 2007 and is now at a near-record high.
We can make a change and help save lives by talking to our youth about their struggles.
On Tuesday, November 1 at Slidell High School, there will be a My Ascension film screening and panel discussion on youth suicide prevention.
This inspiring event is free and open to the public. Bring along your kids, their friends, youth groups, to help encourage the conversation around mental health. Emma shares her personal journey with mental health struggles.
