
Slidell PD’s Narcotics Division reported on a summer program where they were able to target drug dealers and remove them from being able to further spread drugs to the community and youth.
Slidell PD’s Narcotics Division, being one of the most proactive divisions in Southeast Louisiana, spent most of the summer targeting Fentanyl, Meth, Heroin, Trafficking in order to reduce overdose rates.
Detectives were able to remove over 300 grams of Fentanyl and Heroin. They were also able to remove hundreds of pressed Fentanyl pills from the streets.
During the operation, investigators were able to gather intelligence on dealers, which resulted in: 101 total arrests, with 12 were identified as dealers; Approximately 410 grams of Methamphetamine seized; Approximately 315 grams of Fentanyl / Heroin seized; Approximately 224 pressed Fentanyl pills seized; 11 firearms were recovered; and $3800 in U.S. currency was seized.
The following dealers were arrested and charged with narcotics related charges: Candace Lawler, Douglas Dillard, Kellie Rey and Brandy Jones all from Pearl River; Antonia Robinson from Donaldsonville; David Bourgeois from Picayune; and from Slidell Dustin Rupple, Lacie Pyle, Christopher Taste, Ricky Lauren, Klabert Guillot, and Sawyer Robbins.
