59 YO Christopher Turk Batiste, a black male with mental health issues, was last seen at 2 a.m. Sunday (October 1), when a family member dropped him off outside another family member’s residence in the 27000 block of Barringer Road in Lacombe.
Batiste was not at the residence when the family member woke up Sunday morning.
Prior to being dropped off, Batiste had mentioned to family members that he “wanted to catch a bus,” and it is believed that he was seen at a local bus terminal in Slidell at approximately 9 a.m. Sunday morning, but it is not believed that he boarded a bus at that time.
Batiste is approximately 6 foot, 3 inches tall and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants.
