The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office says there has been two additional arrests in the murder of Donte Perry and shooting of Perry’s 12 YO daughter on September 12, 2022.
Chief Jimmy Travis announces the arrests of 18 YO Avery Guidry and 19 YO Tra’von Johnson, both of Tickfaw.
Early on in the investigation, Guidry and Johnson were identified as persons of interest, and were arrested earlier this week on unrelated narcotic and firearms charges. Now they have both been charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, and more.
