The 5K Purple Run, LLC was established to bring awareness and advocate to end domestic violence in Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish.
100% of proceeds from their events are donated directly to SAFE, Southeast Advocates for Family Empowerment.
They will also be having a silent auction the day of the 5K.
Their second annual 5K Purple Run will be October 29 at Cate Square Park in Hammond. The event starts at 8:30.
