A Denham Springs officer was arrested after allegations of sex with minor.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said Joseph Reid Copeland was taken into in custody in Irving, TX.
He will be transported back to Livingston Parish.
Sheriff Jason Ard called it san ongoing investigation, but said that the Denham Springs Police Chief asked them to look into an incident that occurred around the 19th of August. Through that investigation, Ard said warrants were issued for Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile & Malfeasance in Office for Copeland.
