Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans is asking for the public’s help to bring a killer to justice in Covington.
They are offering a $2,500 reward after an arrest.
Early on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, officers with the Covington Police Department patrolling the Covington Recreation Department, located at 4001 De Porres Rd., observed Jyrion Dangerfield of Hammond deceased in a vehicle from a gunshot wound.
Coroner Dr. Chuck Preston ruled the death a homicide.
