On Sunday Reginald White turned himself in at St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office 1st District Office and was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Facility for one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder.
On Friday night, a shooting occurred at the Woodland Grove Apartments in the Slidell area which left one injured.
Shortly after 10:30 PM, deputies responded to a call at this location regarding a female victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The female victim was transported to a local area hospital.
Detectives determined through available evidence and witness interviews, the female was shot after arriving at the apartment to speak with her ex-boyfriend, Reginald White. While there, a disturbance ensued, and White fired a gun at the victim striking her once in the chest.
White fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.
