Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal recently announced the 2022 winner of the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association Undergraduate Educational Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded annually in each parish to a college bound student who has demonstrated scholarship and citizenship.
The 2022 Washington Parish scholarship was awarded by Sheriff Seal to William Richard Adams of Bogalusa.
Adams, a graduate of Pope John Paul High School, plans to attend LSU to study law and business. He stated his goal is to be a “reputable attorney in the pursuit of justice, doing so with humility and respect.”
Adams excelled in academics and athletics during his school years. While in high school, Will was a member of the National Honor Society, maintained a cumulative 4.30 grade point average and scored 28 on his ACT test. A member of the district and state championship soccer team, he was selected as the most valuable player on offense.
