The LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station will host its annual field day for green industry professionals July 22.
Jeb Fields, assistant research coordinator, says this is a perfect opportunity for all of our nursery and landscape professionals to visit the station and see all the ongoing research and the warm-season trials.
The station, located at 21549 Old Covington Highway in Hammond, will open at 7:30 a.m. for registration, coffee and snacks. Tours of the trial gardens and research presentations will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until lunchtime. A free meal provided by the Louisiana Nursery and Landscape Association will be served to all attendees.
