On Thursday at about 11 AM, Covington Police responded to N. Filmore St and W. 29th Ave., in reference to shots fired in the area.
A temporary lock down was initiated at Pine View Middle School out of precaution due to the school being in close proximity to the shooting scene. Pine View Middle’s lockdown was lifted shortly after and there was no threat to students.
No injuries have been reported, and officers were processing the scene for evidence.
