The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office offered an update on an ongoing investigation saying one person had been arrested in an Armed Robbery / Home Invasion Case.
36 YO Robert Benson is in LPSO custody facing Home Invasion and Armed Robbery charges. He is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. A ‘hold’ has been placed on Benson by the Ward 2 Marshal.
The search for Alyssa Dennis continues. She is wanted for Principal to Commit Armed Robbery.

On May 25, deputies were dispatched to the 10,000 stretch of Crooked Creek Lane (Denham Springs) in reference to a home invasion. Through investigation, it was learned the male homeowner and a female acquaintance were inside the home when a suspect entered the back door of that home. The suspect then began attacking the homeowner. Investigators learned the male suspect & that female acquaintance of the homeowner armed themselves with the homeowner’s guns. They then robbed the homeowner and fled.
