Slidell Police Department is reminding residents that car burglars have been active recently.
For several nights in a row, car burglars have been targeting areas off Robert Blvd, particularly neighborhoods located near North Blvd. and Audubon Dr.
They are looking for unlocked doors on vehicles and stealing whatever they can, including guns.
Slidell PD reminds everyone to lock your doors and remove valuables and weapons.
They will be sharing video of these thieves in the upcoming days. If you have a surveillance video of these individuals, and haven’t contacted Slidell PD, please call them at 985-643-3131, and an officer will come obtain a copy of your video.
