Last night shortly after 6 pm St. Tammany Sheriff’s deputies and detectives were dispatched to Coquille Sports Complex near the intersection of Highway 1085 and Highway 1077, after it was reported that shots were fired.
STPSO detectives identified a vehicle of interest and located that vehicle at a nearby gas station.
Two individuals were detained and were being questioned in connection with the incident.
STPSO said the scene was secure and safe, and there were no known victims at that time.
