Yesterday Benjamin Beale, the man accused of beating, strangling, and dismembering a woman whose remains were found in a 9th ward freezer in January, pleaded not guilty to eight charges against him.
The graffitied bus has been removed from Beale’s property, which was a lingering reminder for neighbors of the horror that occurred nearby.
Julia Dardar, a 36 YO mother of two, was found stored in a freezer inside.
Investigators also found the setup of an alleged meth lab.
The coroner determined Dardar was beaten and strangled to death.
Now, Beale faces an eight-count indictment handed down by the grand jury, including second-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and more.
