On May 5, TPSO Detectives began investigating an incident in relation to felony theft that occurred in Independence.
Detectives learned that the victim was missing money from his checking account in excess of $10,000.00, and were able to determine the money was removed by 49 YO Bridgette Harper of Roseland.
Detectives questioned Harper about her role in the theft. Harper later confessed that she took an undetermined amount of money from the victim’s account.
Chief Jimmy Travis reports Harper was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on one count Bank Fraud and one count Theft (Felony).
